Late at night in a small Turkish town, a young couple tries to find a hotel room to spend the night together. They are rejected from all hotels for not having a marriage certificate.
Serhat Karaaslan (Varto, 1984) graduated from Istanbul University’s Faculty of Pharmacy. He then received a masters degree in Film Directing at Kadir Has University. His short films were selected to Toronto, Locarno, Thessaloniki, Montpeiller, Sarajevo, Istanbul, Ankara and Golden Orange Film Festivals and won around hundred awards. His first feature film Passed by Censor was selected to Cannes Cinefondation Residence and Berlinale Co-Production Market and won national and international awards.
