Somewhere between Alabama and Utah in the near future. A aman escapes from a nameless prison and stars to look for his girl in a faceless city, on his tail, first the bloodhounds, then their human equivalents, facing him, roadblocks, empty dance halls and all-embracing indifference to the future of human culture.
