Grave Decisions

You can never be too young to be a murderer, thinks 11-year-old Sebastian, who's convinced that he killed his mother at the age of 0. The proof is on her tombstone: she died the day he was born! Though his father Lorenz tries to calm him, Sebastian is terrified by the thought of going to hell or at best, spending many long years in purgatory. Of course the best way to avoid all this is true immortality, and Sebastian believes he can achieve this as a rock star. At least this is what local radio DJ and passionate rock fan Alfred says. But what happens if he dies before his music lands on the charts of immortal hits? Now he becomes convinced that he's got to make up for his endless register of sins by doing good deeds. That should knock off at least a few years in purgatory. But the results are far from encouraging: he explodes a rabbit, drowns the family cat, nearly kills an old lady... But when he tries to find a wife for his dad, the heavens finally seem to wish him well: Lorenz and Sebastian's teacher Veronika fall madly in love with one another. The only problem is: Veronika is married. But since Sebastian already killed his mother, it should be a cinch to eliminate a bothersome husband...
