The Mess

The Mess is a lively variation of a folktale. A clumsy peasant stays at home while his wife and the maiden leave for making hay. The man starts working with the household but as clumsy as he is, things soon become a mess. Special problems arise from the activities of the pig of the house. The whole building is close to a catastrophe when the women at last come back home. Themes for a discussion: doing things by purpose and by accident, thinking and the lack of consideration, understanding and forgiving.
