Bitings And Other Effects

The dancers caught up in the Tarantella become subject to its choreography. Choreographic laws rather than psychological motivation pull them to the fictional heart of the city. The dancers from the city surrounds- the hills and the sea- through the outskirts, through the old historic centre, down a labyrinth of age-old alleys, through lush gardens to the heart of the web. Dancing mania, fragments of old music, the rich sounds and images of the city, and an illogical set of physical laws that create their own logic is the most important ingredients of this dance film. Dances: Martine Berghuijs, Farooq Chaudhry, Anne Katrine Haugen, Vivianne Rodrigues de Brito, Jamie Watton
