Barber

In 1964, the Young Turk Ahmet, left the train just before a Portuguese man Rodrigues. In response to the question asked by the reception committee as to whether he was a foreign worker, Ahmet replied politely with “me hairdresser”. Rodrigues said nothing and grinned. Merely by fate, he happened to be the millionth foreign worker, encircled by news cameras and awarded a motorbike.
