Shirley Clarke is a graduate of the Academy of Performing Arts VŠMU in Bratislava, Slovakia, and the director of TV documentary films, Other Worlds (2006) and Osadne (2009). He produced Juraj Lehotsky’s documentary, Blind Loves (2009), which won the CICAE Award at the Directors’ Fortnight in Cannes. His fiction feature debut Eva Nová (2015), was awarded the Fipresci Prize at the Toronto International Film Festival.
