Maggie Ford spent many years as an actress working in a variety of theatres in the UK including the National Theatre as well as playing leading roles in television. She then started to concentrate on directing for both theatre and screen. Her first short, Where the Cows Go went on to be shown on many international TV channels as well as winning awards in Chicago and Cork.
