21st Golden Boll Film Festival

Ankara Cinema Association organized the International programme of the 21st Adana Golden Boll Film Festival held between 15-21 September.

CHARLIE CHAPLIN: 125 YEARS OLD

The Great Dictator (1940) was shown for the 125th anniversary of Charlie Chaplin.

SHAKESPEARE FOREVER: 450 YEARS OLD

The films in this section are Hamlet (1948) by Sir Laurence Olivier, The Tragedy of Othello: The Moor of Venice by Orson Welles (1952) and Romeo and Juliet by Baz Luhrmann (1996)

IN MEMORIAM: TUNCEL KURTİZ

Dark Shadows of Fear (Dunkle Schatten der Angst) (1992) was shown in memoriam for the great actor Tuncel Kurtiz.
