7th Festival of European Films on Wheels

The 7th Festival of European Films on Wheels was held between 12 October-7 November 2001 in Ankara, Bursa, İzmir and Diyarbakır. Within the framework of the festival, a biographical book about the old master of the Turkish Cinema, director Atıf Yılmaz was published. A retrospective of Zeki Demirkubuz with five films was presented including the first screenings of his two recent films: Fate and Confession. The Turkish Ministry of Culture, The Representation of the European Commission to Turkey and Europa Cinemas were the sponsors of the Festival. The Russian short film ADAGIO won the audience award.
